"C.A.O. MX2 Robusto"
One need rarely spend large sums in order to make a special occassion
special. This past Thursday for my" Birthday" (a known intergalactic holiday) I enjoyed a C.A.O. Mx2 robusto. The smoke was fabulous. The construction was flawless as I've found every C.A.O. to be. Their attention to detail is admirable. Dark fairly oily wrapper sort of a deep dusky luster as opposed to a shine. No blemishes. The cigar felt firm and not hard. As for the burning: The draw was sheer perfection. A full even delivery of smoke was had with each pull. The taste was powerful yet far from overwhelming. I really don't go for terms like woodsy, etc. however I would say that there was a decided musky tone to this smoke. It announced it's power in a subltle way. Since I love all things Dark and powerful this cigar did not let me down except in one area. Complexity, the cigar was not as deep as it was strong. I noticed this after ending the night with a medium bodied, but much more complex La Flor Dominicana Reserva. The Mx2 is definitely a weekly smoke. Best with Ball, Booze and Babes.
