Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Pork Ribs

I decided to try this recipe from 12tomatoes.com. It is Srow Cooker Honey Garlic Ribs. Here's the recipe I am using...

Other than the hanging curve ball in the name of the dish, sounds really yummy. I wonder if I can substitute a artificial sweetener and still make it work.

I have not cooked with artificial sweetener. Might work.

After 4 hours on high, I took out the ribs and drained the liquid and fat. I then added the ribs back into the crock pot for more cooking time on LOW setting, 1 to 2 hours. At this stage some folks might want to try putting the ribs on an oven rack and cook in the oven. But I am trying the additional cooking with the slow cooker.



I might use some of that discarded fat and liquid for a sauce.

It'd be a shame if you didn't at least de fat it and reduce it to a glaze.

I am definitely doing something with it. I am sure it will make a nice sauce.
