Present day bundles, what's good?
Hey guys, used to be on here a lot, then thought I had a resurgence, but honestly haven't been smoking many and have found myself just buying a single here and there from the brick and mortar in town. I've been on the patio smoking a cigar 2-3x a week lately and thinking I need to set up a cooler again and get some mainstay everyday smokes. But a lot has changed in 20 years or so. Cooler, heartfelt beads still a good way to go?
What bundles are good, and what is trash? For reference, I find myself gravitating to the brands I always used to buy back in the day. Short stories, RP Champagne, Decades, 1992. I tried a CAO called a Flathead on a recommendation and loved them, but they're around $12 a stick here. What would you guys recommend for something that's a cross of a yard gar and an everyday smoke that matches up with a fuller body, robusto or perfecto style, and will provide a satisfying 45 min to an hour of relax time?

Cigar Page has Nicaraguan Boutique Overruns featured currently. They also carry Oliva 2nds (I think Oliva may have an ownership stake in Cigar Page) that are always solid in my estimation. But then I'm a big fan of Nicaraguan tobacco.

LakeTex, it's good to see you coming around and starting some discussions. Stogie5150 and I buy bundles fairly regularly.
If you look on Cigar Page, there is a house brand of theirs called Class 34. We have greatly enjoyed the #35, #37, and the maduro offerings. They also offer a brand from Raymond Pages called Florida Man, these are a little more pricey, but wait for the sales. So far, I like the Santiago. Drew Estate Factory Smokes are bundles, but Drew blends and sells them as "firsts" they are attractively priced and really good, The only difference in these is that the wrappers are Indonesian, but they are still worth it. Southern Draw sells a bundle called 300 Hands Connecticut which is outstanding. Cigar Page sells them, lately, though, the only available size has been a petit edmundo. If you can scoop them up, scoop them up. Cigars International sells a bundle called Villazon. These are really good but the prices are slowly climbing. I prefer the maduro to the natural.

I saw an add today for some new house brand cigar from JR's. No idea if it is any good.

I would say good timing, but there is always a sale on Oliva at Cigarpage.
https://www.cigarpage.com/oliva-seco...-luscious-blen One of my favorite dailies is Cain Daytona - I think you can get them for around $100 for a box of 24 depending on the vitola.
