Tubed cigar unevenly humidified

I just received these tubed churchill cigars. I don't normally buy tubed cigars, so I don't have a lot of experience with them. Most of the cigar is fine, but the last inch or so near the foot is spongy, but not swollen. I want to bring the entire cigar to 65% humidity in the safest way possible. I'm in no rush to smoke them, so time is not a consideration.

Here are my options:

1) Just put sealed tubes back in the humidor as is, and wait

2) Uncrew caps

3) Unscrew caps and pull cigar out of tube 1"

4) Remove cigar completely and let it stabilize that way
