Excellent Cigar.. I had the Maduro version today and it was very nice. Beautifully constructed wrapper. Used a punch on it instead of the normal Xicar cutter. Flavor profile had just a hint of the Anniversary's, but not much.
Mine didn't seem all the strong to me, I would say it is a Med-Full bodied with lots of flavor and complexity to it. This thing made TONS of smoke. Ashe was PERFECT light grey-white color and held on for a good 1" to 1.5". Very tight compact ashe to say the least (wouldn't expect anything else from a Padron) This is NOT the same cigar that was released for RTDA. Jorge Padron informed us the reason for the delay is that they wanted to make sure they got it right the first time. So.. those of you that had the RTDA version, you're going to be surprised by this one. A VERY big Thank You goes out to Jorge Padron for making sure that nothing but EXCELLENT Cigars leave their factories. And yes Jorge did say these are going to be just a bit more expensive then the Anniversary line. Jorge also said there will only be 4 sizes of them and probably 100,000 to 150,000 released TOTAL. Maduro's will probably come out first with the Naturals coming out later
