Stogie5150 (Keith) has a family dish that is similar to barbecue shrimp. The difference is that barbecue shrimp is typically done in the oven or under the broiler. Keith's dish is similar, but from Mosca's restaurant (look it up, you will not be sorry.) and it is done on the stove. Keith's family calls is "Shrimp boiled in butter" the restaurant calls is Shrimp Mosca. The ingredients are nearly identical. Had this Friday night at the Gulf Coast Reunion Herf. It was patently delicious, but I did not have the time to simply sit and eat it as I wished to.
