Yes, definitely get the local store to *at least* match the price at Musician's Friend. Although if it's a big chain store like Sam Ash, Guitar Center they should definitely be able to beat it.
Last week I was shopping and haggling with the guy at Guitar Center about the Ibanez(above). Store price was $420. MF price is $410. I was able to get him to throw in a SKB case ($100) for free with little effort at all. I didn't buy it, but I got his quote. I think I'm going to take that quote over to Sam Ash and see if they can knock $50 bucks off that... Who knows!
