All I know is that I drove by your house and saw lighting bolts coming out of the basement window and heard the whir of motors and the piercing sound of electirc drills. It's a sign that something is up. But the real tip-off were all those foreign looking guys dressed in lab coats speaking who knows what (I guess it was break time). I also couldn't get within 20 yards of the place before an armed guard demanded to know who I was. I want to know more.

Cigarnv, what I'd like to see is a low cost alternative to the popular humidipak inserts which cannot be "reconstituted" once they go dry (harden to the touch)? This would have wide applications. The secret is to make it simple. I'd buy a bucket load of them immediately.
By the way, I have seen 2 gallon size freezer (zip lock) bags in the supermarket. Fairly thick gauge. I would think they could be used in lieu of the more expensive plastic bags (w/humidpaks sealed inside) sold in cigar stores. Would you agree? A good supply of Humipak insterts or equivalents would keep you going (me think) for a while. A 2 gallon bag is a nice size to have - will hold a full box of cigars. Humidipaks can can reconstituted. I've been working with a few here and even though very slow, the can be brought back to life. All you need is a lucite jar, a small container of distilled H2O and a couple of weeks.

Ljutic, agree that you can bring them back to life....the concept of the humipak is quite simple...2 basic technologies that are not really break through.
The packet is a microporous hydrophobic membrane that is laminated to a paper substrate and the juice is most likely a suspended salt solution that is held in a gel host.
