Punch Roth Double Maduro - Oh, How I've Missed You
I just smoked one of the Punch Roth Double Maduro that I picked up on Cyber Monday. These used to be a staple of mine, but over the years I moved toward larger cigars. Even when I would buy Punch cigars I'd buy larger sizes, like the Pita. I figured they were the same, just bigger. Well, I was wrong.
This Punch Roth was fabulous. The smoke was so chewy and thick. It was sweet, but no overly so. Hints of leather and cream. A solid white ash. It was a fantastic smoke. And it lasted almost 1.5 hours. When the smoke is thick and chewy I tend to take fewer draws, which allows the cigar to last longer. I think that's why a Punch Roth lasts so long for me despite its size. I so wish I would have bought another box or two at that price. At $2 a stick it was a bargain.
