This is a beautiful Habano wrapper torpedo with a shaggy foot. The foot has an excellent aroma of medium body tobaccos. The cold draw is perfect. The wrapper is very smooth.



The very shaggy foot lights surprisingly easily. The initial flavors are earthy and smooth with a touch of sweetness. As the burn reaches the wrapper the signature nutty flavors of the Habano wrapper join the flavor profile. The retrohale is mostly smooth with just the right amount of pepper. The burn evens out very quickly after hitting the wrapper.



In the first third the burn angled enough to correct. Some woodiness joins the flavor profile which rounded out the earthy notes very well. After the initial correction the burn is mostly even.



During the second third the woodiness becomes more cedar-forward without overwhelming the complexity of flavors. The strength is building, but remains mostly medium to medium full. The pepper in the retrohale remains excellent. The burn has settled to almost perfect.

The Oskar Blues Old Chub is perhaps a bit sweet for this cigar but otherwise is an excellent pairing.



Approaching the final inch the complexity of flavors remains excellent. The burn has slanted again, but otherwise the construction is solid. The pepper in the retrohale remains consistent. 9.5/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
