Best concert you never saw

A two part question, first, which band or performer that is no longer around or performing do you regret most not having seen?
Second, which currently active band or performer would you most like to see for the first time?
For me, Talking Heads, Sinatra and Dino quickly come to mind. I'm still trying to think of a current artist I'm dying to see.

I regret not having seen Johnny Cash. I had tickets to see him in a small venue in Oregon but it was his final tour that had to be cancelled due to his health. Just missed him by a few weeks.

As for current artists, I'd like to see Willie Nelson again.

Got to see Johnny Cash on what turned out to be his final tour in a small theatre near Philly. Johnny, June Carter & the band was still in fine form. I've seen all the rockers that I like. Never saw The Who or Zep, because I was never into them. Just a couple years too young to see The Beatles, as my first concert was in 1968. Also too young to see Hank Williams. But I did get too see Bob Marley twice & I've always listened to & played reggae ever since. Reggae's cool for me since on a lot of songs the bass is actually playing lead.

As for a current band, Soja for sure. They've been around, but I just haven't made the time. Get old, get lazy.

Talking Heads. Definitely Talking Heads. There was a spectacular concert in Central Park that I missed and have always regretted. Of course, Frank Sinatra and also big bands like Glen Miller. Another missed opportunity is Queen with Freddie Mercury.

I've seen the Allman Bros. but never with Duane. And I am grateful (!) to have seen the Grateful Dead with Jerry. Many of the bands I love have had a long history, but I've missed some of their best eras. I've seen Bowie many, many times, but never as Ziggy Stardust.

A band I would still like to see is the Rolling Stones. I think I would have preferred the Stones of times gone by, but I imagine they still put on a good show. Anyone know for sure?

I don't get to concerts much anymore. Over the years (read as: as I've aged!) I've gotten much more concerned about hearing loss and tinnitus, so I don't attend concerts without wearing ear plugs, and it sort of takes the fun out of it.

One of the best concerts I've seen was the Grateful Dead in the early 80's outdoors at the Santa Fe Downs. I loved Bowie's 50th Birthday show at MSG, and a real sleeper was Matisyahu at a temple in Scarsdale NY. There have been others that I can't think of right now.

Past band = Led Zeppelin. My brother and I had tickets to see them during their 1980 tour in Texas. It was cancelled due to John Bonham's death.

Current Performer = Mark Knopfler

I give up, how can you pass judgment on a concert you haven't been too?

That's like asking, why can't you make a rock that you can't pick up.

I don't believe that's even close to the OP's question.
