types of cigars etc
Is there an easy to read list with explanation of cigar classes and such? i am watching a video the fabulous story of Cuban cigars, and they mention there are at least 40 classes? also, i looked up ligero and it is a filler which contains more nicotine and is used in higher strength cigars and is described as dark leaf. now, at a glance when i see dark, not that i would see filer this is only an example, i think maduro. I guess my point is how does one simply know these things at a glance? i keep hearing different names for leaves that look the same. another example i say torpedo another says figurado. i see a light colored cigar and i think Connecticut yet Sumatra or Cameroon could be the answer, it seems to me some guys take a look and go yep that is (name leaf) and i'm staring going how did you know? they say maduro is sweeter, and very dark black even. yet i have had madrus that had no sweet taste and not as dark as some say they are to be, and have had lighter color cigars, i would guess Connecticut, and is was sweetish. I hope im making sense.
