victor sinclair rosado
Morning everyone
Today in the bottom of my humidor I found this cigar that I did not expect to be good. I have no idea where I got it. Does anyone know where I can get more of this cigar. Here is a picture of the band. Thanks Roger Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven't seen a VS cigar in years. I don't know if they are still in business.

Here you go. There are lots of size choices. Looks like they are an economical smoke too. I hope you can repeat your experience.

Thank you for the link. I am basically not an economy smoker but I have a few sticks like this here and there that were given to me. I was not expecting it to be good. But I was pleasantly surprised.

If you find a cigar you like, and it turns out it doesn't cost a lot, that's a side benefit. I am always on the lookout for good, low cost smokes for rainy days, the winter, or when I want to smoke but I don't want to concentrate on it. Like while fishing for instance. If you drop it you just light another. There are some good values out there!

In the last year, I had that Victor Sinclair with the orange band, a Dominican smoke. Mild, yet surprisingly decent, it came from CI which has nice prices on the V.S. cigars.

I could never fully trust that brand. so many names out there. sometimes, you just find a product that turns you off without any real reason. For example, Gomez's maduro specials, or fighting cock.

Just searching back through my memory, the big move towards rosado seemed to occur about ten years ago or longer. Perdomo seemed to initiate it. Since that time, people realized that rosado was a color, and now, the color is sun grown.
It's a whole lot more common these days to have a rather exact statement of the hybrid and origin of the wrapper right up front. Thirty years ago, you essentially had two choices. Cuban seed and not cuban seed. Then you had three colors. Green, brown, and tan. Unless you went to a true tobacconist and spent a whole lot of money, your choices were not exactly sophisticated. |

I'm sure that you remember the rosadas that stained your lips with coloring.

I never had one of them. I did, however, have a couple of maduros that did. A romeo reserve maduro was so sticky and tarry that my hands looked like I had been working on shingles all day.
