New Orleans offers some of the finest food, entertainment, and friendly people that you'll find anywhere. For persons who enjoy fine cigars, there is no more welcoming place in America. The CCCCC is your opportunity to share all this with men and women who have gathered here since 1999 to share the city together.

We have events scheduled over four days from Thursday through Sunday, with the MAIN EVENT on Saturday, April 21st. You can come for one event, a whole day, or two or (as many people do) an entire week. As usual, the activities are even better than last year. Below is a short summary of what will be happening.

Unlike most herfs, we encourage you to bring a spouse, brother, or friend. Because even if your companion does not enjoy cigars as you do, we have activities that you can both enjoy.

I invite and encourage all of you to come join us. As it always has been, The Crescent City Crawfish Cigar Crawl is a private non-profit herf presented to host the friends and correspondents that we have met through the alt.smokers.cigars and other Internet forums and at other cigar events. So that means YOU!

Have a look at the web site and decide how much fun you can stand. We've got all sorts of information there on how to travel, where to stay, and what to do when you're here. Then go to the "Sign Up" page, let us know how you'll be partying with us, and you'll be ready to herf with the best of them.

If Don has the Carolina Crawl during a weekend when I'm not already elsewhere ( I attend a convention that is almost always in August--this year in Yokohama, Japan) I'll be there! If that doesn't work out, I'll have to arrange a weekend trip down your way sometime this year. You're still working at the mad scientist lab and at JRs?

I haven't seen Martin in a long time. Last time I was at his restaurant and coffee roasting place for lunch, the woman helping me was confused when I asked her about Martin. She didn't know who he was.

I think Don's coming down to New Orleans for the party weekend, so maybe he'll already have a date in mind by then, so I'll know and can let you know, too.
