I guess I am going to compete in the local Battle of The Blues Bands next month. I'll of course be in the 'duo' category playing solo. The winner goes to Memphis to compete in the IBC (International Blues Challenge) against GREAT players.

Every year people ask me why I am not in the compeition - some of last years judges came up to me and said why in the hell are you not competing. I said I don't wanna go to Memphis.

After talking to some friends in the Memphis area they said win the lcoal competition and come down here have fun don't worry about the actual IBC
It's a party.

So I am entering the competition this year. Pretty stupid and I'll more than likely win course I'll be BLOOOOOOOOOwn off the stage in Memphis but hey it's a paid for trip.
