Well, I find the SAK very sharp and very strong. You get a clean cut, but the finesse is gone. With other cutters you can shave off just the cap with no filler, if you're careful. But the SAK is too big and bulky for that. You have to cut down a bit further.

Guess you can't have everything.

If only the Palios were more reliable. They cut beautifully, until the blades start chewing each other up.
