Dan is NOT the new GM. He is the "vice president of FB operations" with Wannstedt (title: COACH) and Rick Spielman (title: GM) reporting to Marino. However, curiously, Marino DOES NOT have final say in personnel decisions. FINAL DECISIONS will rest with Spielman.

I'm as surprised as the rest of you are with the decision to hire Marino yet give final decisions over personnel to Spielman. Folks here in Miami are disappointed over this...and radio announcers are having a field day with this one...
