Music Box Humidor
This is a small quartersawn oak box. The orignial interior was old style metal. Probably dates to around 1900. The tobacco leaf on the leaf is a neat addition too.
Yeah, it has a wind up music mechanism that plays when the lid is opened. I think it's a waltz. Seems like I've heard it before, but a waltz expert I am not. Capacity is small because the music mechanism takes up space in the bottom. But I used it for awhile because I think it's cool. Then my nephew started smoking cigars and needed a humidor so I gave it to him. |
