Picked up a couple of these for $1.50 each. I didn't know what to expect, but what I got wasn't all bad.
Prelight - Nice looking 6x54 cigar. Wrapper looked a little veiny and did have a few water marks but nothing bad. Nicely packed and solid.
Taste - The strength on this cigar was mild to medium,a little more mild than medium. Flavor was cedar and butterscoth. This stay consistant throughout. I really liked this flavor, but left me wanting more. More of something, more strength, flavor something. I guess this is why I don't smoke milder cigars anymore.
Ash/burn - Burned well and consistant. Ash was flaky. The ash seemed to want to fall off quickly due to the flaking, but held on for and inch before falling. Burn was good no running or burn problems.
Overall, I wish someone had shown me this cigar when I was first starting out. This would have been a great mild smoke. I would have rather had this then a Macanudo, flavor, price would have made this a winner. I rate this higher if the flavor profile had been stronger, but for someone who has moved on from mild smkes I give it a 6. If I was a mild smker still I'd give it an 8.

I agree Hooko, they are a bit mild and flat for my tastes. I bought a few based on the appearance alone. Turned out to be a bit of a dissapointment.

I smoked a few of these a couple of years ago and found your review to be 'right on'. They're a bit too mild for my tastes these days, but are a very decent mild cigar for a 'change of pace'.

I also tried a few a number of years back, pretty non-existent flavor on both.
