A full humidor is a happy humidor

I find that maintaining a proper humidity level in a humidor or coolidor is a lot easier if the humidor or coolidor is full.
Is it just me, or have you guys had the same experience?
Just one more reason to buy more cigars, IMHO.

There is very little airspace in my coolers.

It's true! A humidor should be at AT LEAST 2/3 capacity at all times.

It's always best to have the humidor or cooler 2/3 to 3/4 full. This limits the amount of moisture in the air (less air space) so that it doesn't leave when the humidor is opened.

I find that mine is happy when it's all the way full. It holds steady at 3/4 full to all the way full. And that's how I'm gonna keep it

It's a lot of work to keep it that full! Mine varies from 1/2 to 2/3 full. I've never been able fill it to capacity. Besides, 50-70 cigars seems plenty for one person! But then, I'm a newbie. To here everyone else talk, I don't have squat in cigars, so take it for what it's worth.

It'll come with time Herbie . The trick is to buy more cigars than you know you will smoke. By the time you get around to them, they'll be aged nicely

I barely have room for my beads, and there is more on the way. I thought a 100 count humi would be enough for a newbie like me.
