I'd made the assumption that they were one and the same.
Under one of the Oliva cigar descriptions on The CI website they mentioned that they are different.

Can someone elaborate?

I think it is all part of the same organization. They are a large grower who supply many manufacturers. In addition, they keep (or transact internally) some of their own leaf for their own manufacturing operation. Nestor Plasencia has a similar operation.

They are different families and companies. I'm not sure if they are related, but I think they are not. There is Olivia Cigar Company and Olivia Tobacco Company.
