I was gifted a Cigar Lovers Diary by my sister a few months ago. I just smoked the Henry Clay and was a little dissapointed. While the cigar was not going to win any beauty contests, the flavor was pretty mild and left a really bad taste in my mouth. I know cigars tend to do that, but this was just plain nasty. I have had the Henry Clay Robustos and never had this kind of thing happen. I only have the one, so I can't compare it to another. My cigar store does not carry them. Has anyone else had this bad an experience with this figarado?

Well all the Henry clays I have ever gotten have been "cooler material" and didn't qualify for the desktop humidor.

On the HC, I really enjoy them and have never had a dull one as you described.
On the cigar Diary, I have often seen these outside of "Typical" storage conditions. I am not saying that this is the case, but I wouldnt judge a whole line by a cigar that was taken from one of these. jmho |
