What is ...

... your single favorite beer style? (Porter, Pilsner, IPA, etc. )

Why?

Mine is a really good Porter. Just seems to be the most balanced between the maltiness, and then bitterness from both the roasted grains and hops.

Sorry if this has been discussed before. I'm too lazy to search it out.

Sierra Nevada's porter. And, it's nutritionally outstanding.

I prefer the Belgian abbey ales--is that what you asked? Abita Abbey, the seasonal Blue Moon Abbey, New Belgium Abbey. (Maybe it is the alcohol content, usually. Though not with the Blue Moon.)

A well made Pilsner is hard to beat...complex malt flavor, balanced hop bitternes, flavor and aroma . A fresh well maintained Czechvar is a beautiful thing....
