I'll pick it up on you guys' advice. The reviews i read were bad, but I loved Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
I'll let you know what I think when I give it a listen. -dylanh

Agree completely. Highly recommended. Of course given FFT's excellent taste, his thumbs up would be recommendation enough for me.

It is an awesome piece of work...I guess rehab was a good thing for Tweedy.
The wife and I have tickets to the sold out show here in PDX on Nov. 11th. I'm really stoked to see them live in a small venue again.

I have tried over and over to go see em with no luck. Would have been really great to see when it was Uncle Tupelo...

Topping an old thread, but I just got this album a couple days ago and I like it a lot. YFH was the first Wilco album I was turned on to, and I love it. This new one is different, but just as good I think. I wish they travelled south, looks like all their live shows are scheduled up north. I'll keep my eyes open, but for now I will have to pick up their first couple albums to fill out my collection.
Also heard one of the albums with Billy Bragg where they do previously unrecorded Guthrie songs, or something like that. Frankly I didn't care for that at all. |
