Smoking Jackets

I was wondering how many people use a smoking jacket? What kind to get? And if anyone has a good place to get them from?

Nope. 'Fraid I don't have that much class. I just smoke in whatever old t-shirt I got on.

I remember on sitcoms when I was a kid, some stuffy old dude was always breaking out the (british accent on) smoking jacket (british accent off).

Because wearing a T-shirt that says, "I'm a Pompous Ass" is too obvious.

A smoking jacket is designed to protect one's fine, handmade clothing from the ash and odor associated with enjoying a cigar.

I always thought that smoking jackets were for pipe smokers and their purpose is to keep the stinky smoke smell off of your regular clothes. A pipe stuck in a pocket really reeks.
