Second, the thing I like the most about the lighter is it is truly wind proof. I really like it outside in Chicago since the wind is intense. Come spring and summer the wind drops, and I don't feel quite the pressure to get lit before my fingers turn blue.

Thanks for the update/clarification. I am curious though. Would you say that a regular butane lighter lights the cigar better? I certainly understand that the Agnite would work better in the wind and cold, but why not continue to use it? Maybe the wear and tear issue is the reason.
