Punch Rare Corojo Rothschild...another opinion
In a word, blah. It doesn't even deserve a proper review.
First half inch had no flavor, the rest of it was mild. Only a small bit of spice, mostly a grassy flavor. A bit of tongue tingle, not really bite. Loose draw, tended to get hot. 45 minute smoke. Not a bad way to spend the day, but I've had a lot better smokes for $4. Overall 60/100 Recommendation: Smoke one as a gift, but don't bother buying one.

We've got these near the Rocky Edge's at the shop. They're more expensive then the RP Edge Corojo's, and not nearly as good, IMHO.

never had one that I enjoyed. And IMO, they don't age that well either.

Too bland -- a nebbish cigar.....much better out there for less money.

More for me. I like em. I prefer fuller smokes but sometimes like something with less spice.

I think that the Rare Corojo line kinda sucks! I have had some that are alright and some that are downright terrible.

Rares are definately not the best thing to come out of Punch, but not bad either. I tend to stay away from most Rothschilds anyways. If you need something quick, buy a good brand of minis or cigarillos. Punch ones arent bad. If you want a cigar, enjoy it. If you buy size based on time constraints, you shouldnt be into cigars. Take up cigarettes instead.

Finally!
People who agree with me! Don't get me wrong. I like the regular line of Punch, and I like the Gran Puro, and I even like the Grand Cru... ...but Rare Corojo BLOWS! I gave the line several chances, but never had a good one from them. |

Yup, gave the RC's a couple of chances last week but was underwhelmed for the most part.

I'll have to revisit. I still have about half of a box of 50 that I got four years ago, they're hiding in the cooler. Got these for just about $100, that's a $2 stick.
