I'm curious... How may other Season Ticket holders are here?

My wife still thinks I only married her 'cause her father has 5 great seats at Joe Louis Arena (one of which I pay for now )

Didn't you?

Still "exploring" the minor-leaguers here. Then again, we don't get season tickets for the Spurs either.

Me - 2 Ranger season tix - have had season tix or Mini-plans (20 games w/ all PO's) for the past 22 years. It's getting tough with 2 boys (they count who goes and how many, and what teams, etc...) but it works...

We had season tix when there was a minor league team in Reno. I miss that... I don't know if I'd get season tix to an NHL team if I lived in a NHL city. Pretty expensive and the time commitment is pretty substantial. I could see something like a mini-plan as Monteman mentioned.

That's what we do Jay. Seeing that the 5 seats cost a total in the 5 digit figure range, we split 3 of the seats (3 in row 8, 2 in row 9) up into quarters, roughly 10 games + 1 pre-season game per group. My brother-in-Law keeps the 2 back seats for entertaining or our use if he doesn't use 'em. Playoff games are above and beyond that but we stay in rotation for those (retaining first right of refusal since we own the seats). When you add parking and "refreshments" it does get to be quite expensive.

Same here - 40 gmes plus 3 pre-season is a big financial hit and a tremendous time burden. Over the years I have accumulated a list of about 6 people. I pick out about 15 games and then send the list around. Everyone knows no playoffs (I keep them although with the Rangers it's not much of an issue ) By Sept 30th each year - I'm done.

So it's like a mini-plan

I had season tix to all seven seasons that the Tallahassee Tiger Sharks were here. If we EVER get another team I will be one of the first in line for center ice again. I can not believe how much I miss live hockey. The closest place now is either Tampa or Atlanta. With the NHL tix being SO expensive a road trip is really a once a year thing.
