I love those flanken cut beef ribs. And chicken thighs. I think I'll grill some tomorrow. Been off my feed the last few days and that may just be what the doctor ordered.

I've been up to my ass in casseroles with generous and kind friends bringing meals for my family. So, when a neighbor said they will be ordering from a restaurant sending us a meal I was overjoyed thinking finally it's not gonna be a casserole! It was lasagna.....

: Haaaa!

I appreciate the kindness of friends I do but how much casserole can one man eat?!

Fire crapped out on me, maybe charcoal was damp. Had to finish them in the oven.

Made my own pepperoni and cheese hot pockets. Like store bought hot pockets, these burned my mouth. OUCH.

Vegetable soup. Chopped up zucchini, carrots, onions, potatoes, cabbage, celery, and cilantro. Added two cans petit cut tomatoes, 2 cans summer crisp corn, chicken broth, and various seasonings. This will simmer until dinner this evening.
