humidifying canister placement in Safari cabinet ?

Curious as to where other guys place their humidifying element (I have an Accumonitor system) in their cabinet humdior? I have a Safari from Petroglyph Designs, and mine has been on the bottom level (I have one shelf and no pull-out drawer, as I only store boxes in there). I'm wondering if I would get better humidity with the unit on top, as my upper level seems drier than the lower level, even with the built-in fans circulating the humidity.

So, where do you guys place your canisters, upper or lower? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
