never heard of her until i read this thread. Sounds good from the snippets i've heard on her myspace page. Her voice reminds me a little of kurt cobain.

not to bring back a thread that was on its way down. But i picked up her new cd "West" a week or so ago, and i am now hooked. This woman can write, and sing some great music. This album has become my go to for the nights when i'm sittin on the porch with a cigar. Great stuff really, a little rock, a little country, a little blues, a lot of great music. Not really one track that i skip over while listening to it.

As Anodyne said, Car Wheels was probably her peak. Saw her a few times in Nashville and her live stuff is good but she has produced as of late.

As far as West is concerned, the only song that I never really cared for was Mama Sweet. That is until I saw her perform it live and it was really great.
