Why 6 mos. 'dor time? 'Cause I didn't particularly like them when
I first got them. I suppose I was expecting (hoping!) for the taste and bang of the "original blend" ERHs. These ain't.. but they're a good cigar regardless. The flavor is sort of reminiscent of the original blend. Close enough to make it enjoyable. The cigar is well constructed, and produced copious (love that word!) amounts of smoke. Although the cigar is kinda one-dimentional, it does have a pleasant, straightforward and earthy tobacco flavor - imagine that, tobacco flavor in a cigar! It also possesses a full strength which makes it a good after-dinner smoke. Might just be too strong not to follow a full meal. With a little 'dor time, the latest reincarnation of the ERH has worked it's way into my daily rotation. The cigar was accompanied by a glass (okay, two glasses) of Maker's Mark (red seal) Bourbon. This too is a "go to" kind of Bourbon. Like the ERH, nothing fancy, but a tasty, rewarding, relaxing Bourbon. Doug -- "Oh.
