Holiday score
BT single barrel select and Maker's, custom aged single barrel, barrel proof. $100 for both. MM has definite mocha notes. Unusual for a bourbon. Hot on entry, smooth finish. Not a sweet whiskey by any measure. Lmk if anyone would like some. $70+shipping. Not going to be a wide release.

Decided the Maker's isn't for me. Wheat dulls the flavor, AFAIAC.

Scored a bottle of High West A Midwinter Night's Dram yesterday. Don't know when or if I'm going to open it. I just like how it looks on the shelf.

Who the f**k has that sensitive a palate?
I'll bet he's not a hot sauce fan.

Hope everyone had a great holiday. I did well this year, a bottle of Wellers special reserve, a bottle of Stagg Jr, a bottle of Jefferson ocean and a bottle of Caol Isla 12 year old.

I picked up a bottle of Macallan 12 Sherry Oak Cask for Holiday get togethers. About $25 off regular price, IIRC.
