What Rob said. My 13 year old is taking an interest as well. It's a good thing that 40 years of experience and knowledge aren't just going with me into the grave.

Hamburger with the cheese and bacon mixed into the patti on a pistolette and a handful of Sun Chips.

Will probably be my supper tonight, too.

Looks like cheeseburgers and crinkle fries tonight.

Edit. Schedules went all over the place at the last minute. Decided to order delivery pizza. We've had a record paycheck this week. We've been scrimping during the curfew so that we could support our favorite Asian mom n pops in the area. Tonight is a luxury we can afford. Cheeseburgers can wait until tomorrow.

I love the burgers, but the fries aren't twice fried properly so they lose their crisp and turn greasy before you get home. They give you a whole basket for a small and I like the cajun seasoning they use. Hey make a show of measuring out each small cup and then dump the rest of the basket into the bag to make it look like you're getting more than you are paying for. Psychologically, it works and the cost of the whole basket is figured into the price.

The other thing that grinds my gears about their friesis that I always get about 8 long fries suitable for dipping in ketchup and the rest of them are maybe an inch and a half long. I think that Checkers/Rally's fries are the best. McDonald's is second.

There are several local raunts that cut their own fries they are delicious. But even with those take out isn't the same. I too like the Cajun seasoning at Five Guys.
