RIP George Jones

Country music legend George Jones died this morning, at age 81.

It's not an optical illusion, it just looks like one.

Amazing talent wrapped in an often troubled soul. Hard to pick one song of his that is best, but at the moment, he stopped loving her today seems spot on

A true musical institution. Rest in peace Mr. Jones.

Growing up in Alabama, I have any number of George Jones stories that would entertain you.

That being said, he was lucky to live as long as he did.
Unconventional wisdom is seldom either.

Every time you think you've become too cynical, the world finds a way to teach you that the real problem is that you haven't become cynical enough

Free speech is free speech is free speech. There is no qualifier.

If you aren't outraged, you aren't paying attention.

Sic transit whatever.

It doesn't matter if you think you can walk on water. It's how you walk on land that matters.

Ok I must confess. I am and always will be an
Opus whore.

Life is too short to smoke cheap cigars.
