Don Diego Royal Palm Tube

First Impressions

Lovely light brown 6 x 36 stick. Some veins are noted, with some cigars having rather prominent veins. The band is brown with light colored letters, "Don Diego La Romana". The cap looks to be a double cap. The pre-light aroma is very mild, somewhat grassy.

Comments

Easy light, great burn in spite of the veins. The aroma is luscious and pungent, yet the cigar is mild. It relights very nicely as well. Tobacco and grassy notes seemed to pre-dominate. The Royal Palm is one of my favorite smokes because the low smoke volume ensures that the fumes do not go into my house from the basement. I don't think I have seen very good reviews by the pro reviewers, but I like this cigar. Watchwords: mild, low smoke volume, but tasty.
