I put off starting my anitbotics until after last nights gig. I have started them today and I can not have alcohol (not even cough medicine that contains alcohol) for the next
8 or 9 days. I ain't a heavy drinker but it sure makes cigars better to have a stiff drink with them. So I guess it's just coke or something with cigars the next bunch of days

At least the doc didn't say no cigars! Hope you get better soon.

I know the feeling Mannish. I don't take medicine's very often, but when i do, it always seems like I miss out on a great party where everyone is drinking. Hope you get well soon!
I got by drinking coffee/water with my cigars & it wasn't that bad.

With the cool weather we're having, how about coffee

Can't drink it at night myself, bc of the caffeine.

I can't drink the coffee cause I 'whiz' too much. I still got until next Monday I do miss the Whiskey with the cigar. Coke is OK but I ain't smoking Cubans until I can drink some EW SB with 'em. Although I may have to drink some coffee with one soon.

Get well. I hate that two week antibiotic thing.

The last time that I was on antibiotics, I asked the doctor and the pharmacist--they both told me that the alcohol "cancels out" the medicine. But they also said that the previous dose runs its course and does its thing in about 5 hrs. I took my medicine like a good boy at about 2:00 and was drunk by 9:00 PM.

I got well.
