Post CW First Look: Three New Offerings from Puros Indios

Puros Indios is bringing out THREE new items for the IPCPR Trade Show, next week.

Cigar Weekly is privileged to be the first to report on these items.

One is a limited edition cigar, yeah, yeah, I know, made at the Miami factory. They limit the three rollers, there, to 100 cigars per day. This is the 2012 series with Nicaraguan tobacco.

Second is a Cuba Aliados Cabinet which is the first line made from tobacco grown on their own land in Danlí, Honduras, so it'll be a Honduran Puro.

Third is a bundle of jaw-breakers called the Super Mazo.

"The Puros Indios “2012” Series .......Three sizes will be available; Robusto, Toro & Torpedo, with a suggested retail price between $7 & $9 dollars

Can't wait to give 'em a try.

I know it's only a suggested price, but $7-$9 sure caught my attention considering the other PI lines are usually around $2-$3.

Agreed. And yet, with retail prices likely to be a bit lower than MSRP, and with other manufacturers almost universally breaking the $10 mark with their new offerings, I'm thinking these will definitely have a presence in my humidors...

You going to buy the Super Mazo at a x60 ring?

I like alot of the PI.
With a little age they are nice. Can't wait to try some new stuff from them, besides the 60rg... those aren't my cup of tea.

Being a PI/RFC fan (which one are they going by these days? HEY FRANK?!!), the 2012 and CA Cabs sound like 'must trys'! I'm with Gene on the price point of the 2012. Not saying they aren't worthy, just seems high for PIs. Of course anything with 'Limited Edition' in the title is going to come at a higher price.
