Camacho CLE CRA edition
I got this from my buddy mrdiver (Stan) he always gives me two of everything he likes when he visits each year. So I had my first one of these, this evening. If you're not certain what I'm talking about, the Cigar Rights of America organization gives out a fine sampler to new members upon joining. They are special blends or sizes in existing lines, just for joining.
I had this one, tonight, and it's a good smoke. I'm sketchy on the details, as I disremember a lot, these days. I think the CLE stands for, of course, Christian L. Eiroa....and that's now his own brand as he is no longer involved at Camacho which was sold to Davidoff. It was sweetish, but not exceedingly so at the beginning, with a fine aroma. It transitions to a cedar character as it burns. It's very enjoyable, I'll find my other one at some point or other and hopefully find this post and add to my impressions. What do you fellows thing? Anyone try them? I'm pretty sure the CRA version is not available in stores so CALL NOW and get yours, just pay separate shipping and handling on your second order. Oh. Um, wait.

BB-
It was a premium for extending(or starting, I'm sure) the CRA membership for 4 years. Musta been 3 years ago, now. They had a booth set up at Cigar Heritage in Ybor. Think there were 8-10 cigars, from all the biggies. Opus X. VSG. From what I remember it was $140 ($35/year) for extending the membership. I feel membership is important and woulda given 'em the $35 per year over the next 4 years, anyway....... |

That's how they work.
I think they may give shirts, too.
