Premier Climmax beads - couple of questions

1. I bought the Premier humidication system - for 75 cigs. My Humi is a 100 ct. If I fill it up with more than 75 cigs, can I supplement it with my regular credo? or will that cause problems?

2. I don't want to attach my premier to the lid of the humidor, I would rather just lay it on the cedar tray (A few less cigars, since it takes up space, but not a big deal for me). Is there any problem with doing this? Whether in the design or with the efficient spreading of the moisture?
