I remember reading (Months ago) that they discontinued them...and didn't think twice...figured I don't need another one

My Question is ....are there any sensors that are compatible???
has anyone tried a Oregeon Scientific withe the Radio Shack Base???

Any Thoughts?

I believe they are compatible. Give them a try and if they don't work, return them.

Not sure if they're compatible but, IMHO, Taylor makes the most accurate digital hygrometers.

No disrespect LeeH, I wouldn't take a manufacturers claim too seriously. I will subject ALL Hygrometers to a salt test ( I know a bunch of BOTL using the Boveda packs in exchange of the salt + H20 test) before using them.

By the way, it suck to know that Radio Shack is discontinuing these great hygrometers....

I just didn't want to buy another Monitor....thought I could just buy the remote sensor....
