No Shit!

Try living in the KC area and listening to sports talk radio.

Herm Edwards press conference later this morning should be fun.

Unfortunately, I agree.

My primary reason for holding that is position is Carl Peterson, the president & GM. While he is not without considerable skill in a number of areas, at his foundation, he is an egomaniacal, ethical sleazebag.

Also, with Lamar Hunt possibly dying, his son Clark has taken over most of his involvement. In this instance, the apple bounced and rolled quite a distance from the tree.

Is Lamar's son really gonna botch up the job once lamar passes? Lamar was a true genius, a man ahead of his time. Arrowhead stadium is just one example. Until i actually went there in person in 97, i had no idea how incredible the stadium really was. the fact it was built the same year as the Vet BLEW MY MIND! He had club boxes built before the term even existed.

Not being in the area, why do you say Hunt's son fell far from the tree?

Lamar Hunt was and is a visionary who understood that the greater good of the league many times superceded his interests, and that taking the long view was the right thing to do. Neither Clark Hunt or Carl Peterson exhibits any indication that they even understand that concept let alone do anything consistent with it. Unfortunately it doesn't look good for Lamar. LINK

Hunt and other early-day owners who put the health of the league above the best interests of their individual clubs have been credited with helping the NFL avoid the big market-small market disparity that has plagued major-league baseball.
