Padron Londres Maduro
Padron Londres Maduro
5 ½ x 42 ring Origin: Nicaragua All tobacco in this line: Sun-grown habano aged for a minimum of two and one-half years. Info from: http://www.padron.com/cigar_padron.php This wonderful cigar, among others of course, was purchased at Padron’s beautiful new facility in Miami. When you visit the Cigar City a stop there is an absolute must! I smoked this cigar within a couple of hours of purchase. It was obvious it had been resting under ideal conditions. It clipped perfectly and the pre-light draw was spot on. Further evidence was an exemplary burn start to finish. The construction from cap to foot was impeccable. This exceptional vitola is medium to full in both body and flavor. It started with a rush of peppery spice, coffee and dark chocolate. Both mellow and bold at the same time. This progressed to a balanced and complex profile of spice, semi-sweet chocolate notes and earth that remained right to the nub. The finish was dry, of medium length and deliciously chocolate. This cigar was a finger burner for sure! I have never smoked a Padron I didn’t like. This Londres was no exception. Maybe the fact that I experienced Padron first hand enhanced my enjoyment of this particular cigar. It was truly outstanding! Highly recommended! Thanks for reading my review! |
