I'm looking to buy a Pelican-style traveldor like the Sherman. Anybody recommend a good on-line source? I'm thinking the 18-stick model would be sufficient.

I have a Armoured Humidor model. I'll bring it with me to the herf and you can check it out. http://fujipub.com/armoredhumidor/index.html

That's pretty much what I'm looking for. I'm just looking for the best price now.

Ask for the Cigar Family discount on The Sherman, I think it's 20% off or something like that.

Phil - I already have one of those. It's a Cigar Caddy and they just don't work as well as the bigger Pelican cases. The trays aren't as thick and they don't offer the protection.
I just ordered the Sherman 18 Standard model. Thanks for the tip Andy! Let's Go Hawks! |

BTW, here's a good site to comparison shop from and some info on building your own:

Excellent info.
I recently purchased a "24" count Cigar Caddy on CigarBid. They called it an OtterBox, but it says Cigar Caddy right on it. As far as cigar protection goes, The Cigar Caddy doesn't match up to the Shermans that I've seen. The cigars can rub against each other in the Cigar Caddy while the Sherman isolates each cigar. If you got the time, I low-balled a $50 bid on Cigar Bid and after many losses, finally won a 18-seater Road Warrior with humid device and strip-reader for humid/temp. Sweet!
