This cigar has a beautiful chocolate brown wrapper. Aromas from the foot are light and a bit fruity. The cold draw is perfect and reveals a bit of sweetness.



The initial flavors are lightly sweet with toasted tobacco and slight notes of roasted beef. There’s also an earthy base consistent with Nicaraguan tobacco. The burn starts even and the ash looks like it will be a “stack.”




In the first third some savory spices appear in the flavor profile, complementing the complexity. This is a good medium bodied cigar. The burn remains even and the ash remains the same.

During the second third the roasted meat and savory spices take the front of the flavor profile while retaining the earthy base. The ash is pretty solid; when I tapped the first inch or so it dropped solid. The burn remains very even.



Approaching the final inch the retohale is very smooth with light pepper notes. The spices in the flavor profile has faded, leaving a good combination of roasted meat and earth. The ash remains fairly solid, tapping every inch plus.

Overall a very good experience with a good meaty finish, almost a prime rib flavor. The ash remains solid and the burn is almost perfect. Excellent complexity and construction. Michael Herklots has produced an excellent cigar for his TAA blend. 9.7/10, Joe Bob says check it out, but get one quick before they are gone.
