Cigar Oasis
Hello everyone,
I'm new here and would like hi from Toronto Canada! This site sure is a wealth of information. I bought a Cigar Oasis from Bargan Humidors (excellent experience BTW) and when assembled and plugged in, I noticed that there is little or no airrflow coming from the side output vent. Most of the air leaks from around the two mating parts. I have the one built in China with a hole drilled to expose the corse adjustment pot which was not set to 70% btw. I tried electrical tape to seal it but noticed that the air was back flowing through the fan and not through the vent. The plastic flaps don't seem to be stuck and move freely. From what I can see, the fan pressurizes the chamber right under it, air is supposed to flow up through a hole in the back then down into the resorvoir and finally out the vent. I did an archive search and found one post describing a similar experience but no resolution. Is there any modification I can do to direct airflow properly? Does anyone know if the CO Plus have a different flow configuration other than a reversed fan? Can I reverse the fan in mine with minimal modification? I would really appreciate any input. Thanks, Rob |
