i would think just like the sponge thing, that the initial blast of humidity is caused more from the over saturation of soaking the beads. Once you blew them, LOL (sorry), you actually decreased the humidity level which now is more stable around where you want it. I had the same thing happen with my sponge - the initial day humidity went to 99% - good thing i planned ahead so there were on cgars in there. I opened the lid and the the humidity go back down, adjusted my sponge settings (put a lid with a small hole over my sponge in a bucket) and humidity is now stable around 63%.
just keep checking it the next several days to make sure humidity goes not go haywire and you should be good. |
