I always cut and try the draw of a cigar before going out and if one is hard to draw I just put it back in the humi and find one that should smoke nicely. I like them to be wide open and not even marginally hard to draw.

I have done this many times and it seems that even totally plugged cigars loosen up in a week or two.
Sounds good, I'll have to give this a try before tossing it!!
