i just bought a nifty humidor that advertised spanish cedar lined etc. it has 7 draws and and locking front door. looks neat and is big enought o hold my stash but here is my question/problem. after i got it out of the box and set up, it had this funny smell to it. definitely not a cedar smell. i would say more like a funky wood glue mixture smell. i have been getting it aclimated to 70% humidity but it still smells a little funky. im not really sure what the deal is but i am hoping this smell will not infiltrate my cigs.

any opinions out there are to what i should do? do you think it is safe to store my cigs in there without fear the taste will change? after all, i dont want to get high from sniffing a cigar infused with glue smell. i have a smaller humidor that i used in the past that works great. should i move them to this?
