Salt Test & Results
This might just end up being a high five for Radio Shack, but I did the salt test last night on all three of my hygrometers - 2 Radio Shack ones [the $10 ones from a couple months ago], and one Diamond Crown.
I took a bottlecap and put the salt in it, then added distilled water to make more of a paste [as per directions I saw on CW earlier this week], then put the bottlecap and all three hygrometers on the lid of a tupperware container, and then put the base [which was clear] on top of the lid, and sealed it [basically it's upside-down, so I can read the hygrometers better]. Did that at 10pm last night, and this morning, one Radio Shack reads 74%, the other reads 76%, and then the Diamond Crown reads 74%!!! I'll check it and remove the hygrometers tonight at 10pm, for a full 24 hour test. So, just wanted to share with you guys my "scientific" findings, and see if you had any input. -John
